As a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery with an additional qualification in occupational medicine, I combine these services with my orthopaedic and sports medicine experience.

Preventive occupational healthcare
Preventive occupational healthcare considers how work and health affect each other. A personal consultation covers the employee’s role, potential workplace exposures and individual health concerns. Examinations may also be appropriate, depending on the reason for the consultation.
My areas of focus include preventive occupational health care for work-related skin exposure, occupational infection risks and display-screen work. We determine which preventive care is appropriate based on working conditions and the workplace risk assessment.
You can also enquire about other occupational preventive care needs. If additional examinations or specific technical facilities are required, I establish how these can be provided and, where necessary, identify suitable cooperation partners before confirming the service. We agree on arrangements and responsibilities with you in advance.
Preventive occupational healthcare is distinct from a fitness-for-work assessment. Its purpose is advice and prevention. Personal medical information remains subject to medical confidentiality.

A workplace visit helps me understand how your employees carry out their work. On site, I review working conditions and discuss potential health risks with the relevant contacts.
Together, we use these observations to develop recommendations suited to your organisation. This also includes physical demands and workplace design. The aim is clear advice that can be used in everyday working life.

Workplace health management starts with understanding what support employees need in their particular working environment. I advise you on ways to incorporate health considerations into your organisation’s daily operations.
My experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine complements my occupational health work. This is particularly relevant to questions about movement and physical demands affecting the back and joints. We discuss which measures may be appropriate for your organisation.
